1. Smooth Cursor
In Visual Studio Code VSCode, you can enable a smooth cursor by changing a setting.
- Open settings editor
- In the search bar, type
cursor smooth
- Change Cursor Blinking
- On cursor smooth Caret Animation

2. Auto Save
Auto Save is a feature that automatically saves your changes to files as you work.
. File > Auto Save

3. Zen Mode
Zen Mode allows you to focus on your code and minimize distractions.
- Keyboard Shortcut:
Ctrl+K Z
- Press
Esc
twice to exit Zen Mode.

In case you’re confused, the way you run that command is by first pressing Ctrl+K
, then let go of both Ctrl+K
, and press Z
(within a couple of seconds).
